Pet Agreement
To bring pets, the Renter must agree to the following terms:
- Renter agrees to keep their dog in kennel when renter is not in the home.
- Renter agrees to always keep their dog under control.
- Renter agrees that their dog is housebroken.
- Renter agrees that the dog will not be on furniture or bedding.
- Renter agrees that the dog will be rinsed of sand and dried thoroughly before entering the unit. Guest linens should not be used for the dog.
- Renter agrees that the dog will not be washed inside the unit.
- Renter agrees to clean up after their dog and dispose of their pet waste promptly.
- Renter agrees to keep their dog from being noisy or aggressive, and from causing any annoyance or discomfort to others. Renter will remedy complaints promptly.
- Renter agrees that their pet is up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations and currently treated for flea and tick prevention and will be current in their treatment at the time of check-in.
- Owner takes no responsibility for renter’s dog. Renter agrees to pay owner promptly for any damages, loss or expenses caused by their pets.
- No dog beds or towels should be put in the washer or dryer.
- All dog hair will be swept, vacuumed or picked up and removed from the inside of the house prior to check-out.
A pet fee of $150 per dog will be assessed. If damage is caused by the pet, Renter agrees that the damage deposit may be used to remedy damage and will pay for any additional damages if necessary.
The pet fee is required for each pet residing at the house during the rental period. Renter agrees to promptly pay the owner if damage occurs. If damages are not reported, but are found by owner/inspector, it will be documented, and necessary replacement or repair costs will be billed to the Renter.
Renter agrees that the owner reserves the right to revoke permission to keep the pet at the hosue should Renter break this agreement.
